General Commentthis song to me, its definitely about reuniting with people you havent seen in ages, and its like you have to reintroduce yourself to people who you havent seen in f$%kin ages, because everyone feels inadequate like they dont know eachother, but the song is saying, i havent changed since the day i was born, im still the same asshole etc also notes that hes .

A classic 6minute Faith No More album. Listening to this song you can hear how different the band was. No one was like this and the reason they really never hit it big except for The Real Thing is mainly because they were different. Overall, their majorlabel debut is a good one. One of the shorter Faith No More releases but a good one nevertheless.

Sep 12,  · From their opening number "Faster Disco" to their MTV hit "We Care A Lot", Faith No More introduced themselves to the musical public that weren't ready for them yet. Although it'll be their second album "The Real Thing" (with Mike Patton on the vocals) that would thrust this band into the mainstream spotlight, "Introduce Yourself" is an album /5(46).

Oct 20,  · Faith No More: Introduce Yourself Plus in a way this has been the only Faith No More album to date in which every member was cemented in their role as the same line-up here had been touring together for a few years prior and produced the debut We Care a Lot on Mordam Records. Patton had been in the band for less than year when The Real /5(69).

At its core it feels like a slightly slower and more refined punk album with a plethora of funky bass riffs, but throws in rap and hip-hop influences plus some very 80's synth backings/5(51).

On Faith No More 's major-label debut, Introduce Yourself, the band that fans grew to know and love much later in its career finally rears its ugly head (much more so than on their independent release We Care a Lot). All the ingredients are there, but like its predecessor there's one crucial item missing, super-vocalist Mike Patton.8/
